Thomas Sabo

In 1984, the jewellery enthusiast and self-made man Thomas Sabo set up his own jewellery company with its headquarters in the historical town on Lauf an der Pegnitz in Bavaria – and gave this enterprise his name. A company that was to stand for high-quality silver jewellery with a special design quality from the very outset. In the early 1990s, Thomas Sabo was able to secure the services of the designer Susanne Kölbli as the company’s Creative Director. With their fruitful cooperation, the two succeeded in winning over ever more jewellers and their respective customers for the THOMAS SABO brand. With an astonishing sensitivity for the material, love of detail and a sixth sense for design and trends, they both lent all subsequent collections their own unique style and gave the brand a distinctive face. In doing so, they created not only a completely new look – they also managed to establish an entirely new market segment.Driven on by this continuing success story, the THOMAS SABO company decided, at the end of the 1990s, to set up its own retail outlets. In rapid succession, exclusive stores, shops-in-shops and sales agencies were established in many countries – throughout Europe, Asia and America. A strong, internationally-recognised brand has developed from what was originally the secret preserve of fashion insiders. To view the entire Thomas Sabo collection please visit www.thomassabo.com

Djadji Platinum Jewellery

Djadji Platinum™ is a unique range of platinum jewellery from South Africa. Each piece of Djadji Platinum™ is more than fine, pure platinum jewellery. It is an investment in South Africa, the North West Province, its people and the promise of a better life for all. Launched in November 2005 by the Platinum Trust of South Africa, the platinum in each piece of Djadji Platinum™ jewellery is drawn from the ore-rich veins of the Bushveld Complex in the North West Province, home to one of the world’s largest and richest reserves of platinum. Inspiration for the name “Djadji Platinum™” was drawn from the African rain queen, Modjadji, referencing the nobility of platinum’s appeal and purity whilst at the same time symbolising the mystery and enchantment of Africa. Situ diamond jewellery

Situ (in Latin meaning "set in place") diamond jewellery is the result of a collaboration between celebrated South African jewellery designers Philippa Green & Ida Elsje and architect/diamantaire Gregory Katz. Proudly South African Situ diamond jewellery can be described as exclusive and modern. Situ diamonds are encased in a block of clear epoxy resin. Conventional scratch resistant and polishable metal settings detract from the gems brilliance. The diamond is set below the surface of the epoxy and only by dissolving the polymer in acids can the stone be removed from the setting. Unique optical effects such as colouration and magnification are made possible by a new combination of rare and everyday materials. Hence, each piece can be customized with unique colours, different sizes and quantities of diamonds, of which only the most precisely cut daimonds are used. Situ diamond jewellery includes a unique range of rings, engagement rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants, as well as an exclusive gents range. Nomination

The idea for a fashion accessory capable of expressing one’s personality, values, passions, politics, secrets and sensibilities originated with Paolo Gensini in the small town of Sesto Fiorentino, near Florence Italy. Intrigued by the customizable aspect of traditional charm bracelets, Gensini devised a modular or ‘composable’ bracelet comprised of a series of links. Connected by a spring-loaded mechanism, each segment could be filled (and replaced), one by one, with a different decorative design. Fashioned out of high quality stainless steel, the pieces were guaranteed never to tarnish or fade. Gensini christened his new creation ‘Nomination’, from the Latin term meaning “giving someone an appropriate name”.In a few years, the company became a family affair and a worldwide success. As Nomination’s Composable bracelets increased in popularity, so did their communicative powers. What started as a series of exquisitely-detailed links that conveyed everything from initials and astrological signs to sports, special interests and life passages quickly grew to encompass more enigmatic symbols. Links featuring more esoteric images - scissors, a padlock, a spider web - became imbued with the wearer’s own meaning, building on Nomination’s language of icon-based communications – and the wearer’s personal mystique. Nomination has since evolved into a global style statement sported by an international array of celebrities, rock stars, rap stars, sports personalities and trendsetters, including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. Through its years of success and expansion, Nomination has stayed true to its Italian roots and family values. Now the world’s largest manufacturer of Italian charm bracelets, Nomination also offers additional lines of unique stainless steel jewelry that promote communication and self-expression. The popularity of these exclusive collections – each of which features bracelets, necklaces, rings and accessories - has helped make the company a worldwide leader in the steel and gold jewelry market.
